Nativity is partnering with local congregations to sponsor a Guns to Gardens Safe Surrender event on Saturday, June 13, at Umstead Park United Church of Christ. Individuals can anonymously surrender unwanted firearms at no cost. Weapons are safely disabled on-site and later repurposed into garden tools. This effort responds to concerns raised by our youth.

Out! Raleigh Pride Family Day is Saturday, June 27. Last year, a small group from Stand Up Speak Out volunteered as “shields” for participants and found it deeply meaningful.
