Whenever I read the passage from Isaiah 58, in the lectionary for this coming Sunday, I want to burst into song with “And then, then shall your light break forth like dawn,” the concluding chorus of Felix Mendelssohn’s oratorio Elijah.  It exuberantly proclaims the theme of light that we celebrate throughout Epiphany.  At Christ Church,
