Nativity’s Outreach Team is exploring the possibility of serving a meal at the Women’s Center of Wake County, the only day shelter for single women in the county.
This shelter relies primarily on volunteers.
The Center helps provide stability to Wake County’s most vulnerable women experiencing homelessness.
The Outreach Team believes this is a very worthwhile and needed ministry.
This ministry involves preparing a breakfast for 60 people and we would like to involve the parish.
Volunteers are needed to prepare food (at home or perhaps together at the church) and 4-6 volunteers to serve on our chosen date.
